Off the Page: Boardwalk Sundress

I never start a project without sketching out a design or plan, so I am starting a new series called "Off the Page," where I show you my original concept art next to the finished project. I hand draw all of my concept art in a sketchbook that I have, and sometimes color the design with colored pencil or markers in order to think ahead and determine how much of each material or fabric I might need.

In this case, this is my own original design. It's interesting to see how the design changed in the end result! Let me know what you guys think!
